The Zou is apparently the place to be for elite prospects that live within driving distance of Columbia.

Eli Drinkwitz’s program continues to benefit from all the work put in on the recruiting trail since their arrival as the Tigers are poised to sign their best recruiting class under the team’s current leadership and the class just got better with the addition of one of the top prospects from Kansas.

Jalen Marshall of St. Thomas Aquinas in Overland Park, Kansas, just announced his commitment to Missouri on Instagram. The Kansas native picked Missouri over Oklahoma State (where his father played his college football), Indiana, Nebraska and Arizona State.

The 6-foot-6, 275-pound Marshall is rated as a three-star prospect, the No. 6 overall prospect from Kansas and the No. 105 defensive lineman in the country for the 2022 recruiting cycle according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

Following his commitment, Mizzou now holds pledges from 12 prospects this cycle. The class currently ranks as the No. 15 recruiting class in the country.
