Starters hardly ever play in NFL preseason games these days, but those exhibitions are still crucial for unproven guys trying to make 53-man rosters.

One player trying to make a roster is former Florida safety Donovan Stiner. After going unselected in the 2021 NFL Draft, Stiner signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent.

And, in Thursday night’s Hall of Fame game against the Dallas Cowboys, Stiner wasted no time making an impact. As you can see below, he snagged this nice interception in the third quarter:

Those are the kinds of ballhawking instincts that led to Stiner grabbing 6 interceptions during his Florida career (including 4 in 2019 alone).

He still has a long way to go to make the final roster out of preseason camp, but making plays like that one will certainly help his case!
