LSU announced on Monday that the daughter of running backs coach Kevin Faulk has passed away.

According to a statement from the university, Kevione Faulk has died at the age of 19. According to The Athletic’s Brody Miller, it happened on Monday morning. The cause of death was not immediately known.

“We are heartbroken with the passing of Kevione Faulk, and our thoughts and prayers are with the Faulk family and all those who love Kevione,” the statement read. “She was a part of the LSU Family, and we mourn the loss of a daughter, a sister, a friend, a classmate and a colleague.”

Kevin Faulk was a running back at LSU in the 1990s before winning 3 Super Bowls with the New England Patriots. He joined LSU as its director of player development in 2018 before being promoted to running backs coach in 2020.

Along with her parents, Kevione Faulk is survived by her 3 siblings.
