No. 22 Auburn will face a big early-season test on Saturday as it heads to Happy Valley to take on No. 10 Penn State at Beaver Stadium.

It’s the annual “White Out” game for the Nittany Lions, one that has proven to be a difficult atmosphere for visiting teams. In fact, the Tigers are the first non-Big Ten team — and the first team outside of Michigan and Ohio State — to play in a Penn State white out since Alabama did it in 2011.

Can the Tigers pass the test and provide Bryan Harsin a key win? One thing is for sure: they are certainly leaning in to the white out theme. Auburn revealed its uniform combination on Saturday, featuring white face masks, white jerseys, white pants, and white cleats. The helmets, jersey, and pants feature orange and blue trim, with the jerseys containing the blue numbers.

In a break from tradition, the key is the white face masks, the first time the Tigers have worn them.

Auburn and Penn State kick off from State College at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC, with ESPN’s lead commentary team of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, and Holly Rowe calling the game.
