Walker Kessler transferred from North Carolina to Auburn this offseason, and Bruce Pearl and Tiger fans couldn’t be happier.

Now that the Tigers have started officially practicing for the 2021-22 season, Kessler said he’s been impressed with Auburn thus far.

This week, he said he feels at home in Pearl’s offense and Auburn has exceeded his expectations (via 247Sports):

“I knew that BP had a very stretch-big-oriented offense, and I loved being close to home,” Kessler said. “Then, as far as coming here, I knew it was going to be good for me, but I mean, it’s gone way higher than my expectations.”

Kessler said he enjoys stretching the floor and letting it fly from 3-point range:

“I pride myself on my ability to shoot and stretch the floor, so that’s really the biggest thing,” Kessler said. “And being a playmaker, being put in positions to make the offense better. … You know, it’s so important, especially at the pro level in this day and age.”

How will Kessler fare at Auburn? We’ll find out starting next month!
