Cade York has announced his plans for the 2022 season and the LSU kicker is moving on to the NFL Draft.

York shared on social media on Saturday night that his career at LSU was a dream come true, and he hopes to continue that at the next level.

“Baton Rouge will always hold a special place in my heart and I will always bleed purple and gold,” he wrote.

York will finish his career as the LSU record holder for 50-yard field goals, as he was 15-for-19. He is also the only player in LSU history with two 50-yard field goals in one game, which came against Texas A&M in 2019. Then there was the memorable kick against Florida through fog.

In what proved to be his final season with the Tigers, York went 15-of-18 in field goals, broke a Tiger Stadium record with 56-yarder and went 39-of-39 on extra points. He was named to the All-SEC second team.

York finished 125-of-129 on PATs, 14-of-16 in field goals in home games and 22-of-26 in road games.
