Jalyn Armour-Davis is going pro after 4 seasons at Alabama. The Crimson Tide cornerback announced Saturday that he is declaring for the 2022 NFL Draft.

Armour-Davis thanked Nick Saban, Alabama fans and his Tide teammates in a note posted on his Twitter account.

This season, Armour-Davis earned a starting corner spot during fall camp. He logged 3 interceptions, which tied for the team lead, along with 32 tackles and 4 pass breakups in 11 games this season. Armour-Davis was named second-team All-SEC for the 2021 season by the conference coaches.

A Mobile native and St. Paul’s product, Armour-Davis joined the Crimson Tide in 2018. He suffered a knee injury prior to the start of his true freshman season, which kept him off the field that year. After taking a redshirt, Armour-Davis appeared in 29 games over the next 3 seasons.

Armour-Davis joins teammates Evan Neal, Jameson Williams, John Metchie, Slade Bolden, Phil Mathis, Josh Jobe, Christopher Allen and Chris Owens in the NFL Draft.
