Derrick Henry is officially back. The Tennessee Titans have activated their star running back ahead of Saturday’s playoff game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Henry’s official activation comes after the Titans announced Henry was Designated for Return from Injured Reserve earlier this month.

Henry suffered a foot injury on Oct. 31 against New Orleans, placing him on IR. The injury halted what was shaping up to be a special season for Henry. In just 8 games, Henry had 937 rushing yards and 10 rushing yards. Despite his lengthy absence, Henry was still in the top-10 rushing leaders for the 2021 season.

Henry’s Titans host the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday. Tennessee is 2-2 in its last 4 playoff games. In a pair of 2020 wins, Henry had monster games, rushing 34 times for 182 yards against the New England Patriots and 30 times for 195 yards against the Baltimore Ravens. In the 2 losses, Henry was contained. He carried the ball 19 times for 69 yards against a Kansas City team that went on to win the Super Bowl. Last year, Henry rushed 18 times for 40 yards in a 20-13 loss to the Ravens.
