Napier and Clark worked together before at Alabama. Clark, an Alabama student from 2012-to-2016, worked in player personnel for the Crimson Tide. Napier was Alabama’s wide receiver coach from 2013-to-2016. After UA, Clark interned with the Seattle Seahawks in 2017 and served as the director of recruiting at UAB in 2018.
Napier has publically retained 4 other off-field staffers: Paul Pasqualoni (Director of Advanced Scouting and Self Scout), Paul Silvestri (Director of Sports Health, Football), Vernell Brown (Senior Director of Player Development and Alumni Relations) and Corey Bell (Quality Control, Running Backs). No on-field assistant coaches were retained.
