Arkansas took down No. 1 Auburn 80-76 in overtime on Tuesday night. Afterward, fans were understandably excited, storming the court in celebration.

Now, that has proven costly for the athletic department, as the SEC announced a fine for the celebration on Wednesday.

Per a release from the league office, the Hogs will have to pay a quarter of a million dollars:

Arkansas will incur a fine of $250,000 for a third offense under the league’s access to competition area policy. Arkansas was last fined for a violation following its football game against Texas in September.

It has been a good year for the Hogs in many sports, so this will likely be money they’ll be happy to pay.

The fine will go into the SEC Post-Graduate Scholarship Fund.
