It’s been a trying time for Auburn and Bryan Harsin to keep his coaching staff together. He’s lost several assistant coaches this offseason to other programs, and now, he’s facing another vacany.

Graduate assistant coach Brent Jackson is leaving to join Oregon’s coaching staff as a graduate assistant of the defensive backs, per On3 Sports’ Matt Zenitz. Jackson had been on Auburn’s staff for 1 season.

Prior to his stop at Auburn, Jackson spent 2 years at Illinois and 4 years at Louisiana.

Jackson graduated from South Louisiana Community College while also working on its coaching staff in a defensive quality control position.

New Oregon head coach Dan Lanning, the former Georgia defensive coordinator, has put together a nice coaching staff in Eugene.
