Saint Peter’s entered the 2022 NCAA Tournament as a 15-seed, an afterthought. But, the Peacocks have shown their feathers so far in March Madness, taking down both 2-seed Kentucky and 7-seed Murray State.

As both of those schools are located in the Bluegrass State, it made for some epic trolling opportunities.A

As you can see below, the Peacocks were ready with a great one when the final buzzer sounded against Murray State on Saturday night:

Saint Peter’s is, of course, located in New Jersey, but with this amount of success against Kentucky teams, it’s hard to argue the Peacocks own Kentucky.

Saint Peter’s next game, with a spot in the Elite Eight on the line, will be against the winner of Sunday night’s contest between 3-seed Purdue and 6-seed Texas.
