Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide will enter the 2022 season as one of the favorites to win the national championship.

Heisman-winning QB Bryce Young is back in Tuscaloosa, as is elite defender Will Anderson Jr. The Tide, of course, have plenty of talent around those 2 superstars, too.

As you can see below, Saban also likes the attitude of this Tide team. He said after Saturday’s practice that there aren’t many negative guys on the squad:

“This team’s been really good,” Saban said. “This team doesn’t have any complainers. Guys just do what they’re coached to do. They work hard. We don’t have a lot of negative guys on this team, and we have some real positive leadership, which I think is always important. And hopefully, we can build on that and that’ll be something that’s an asset to this team.

“It’s easy to start that way, it’s more difficult to sustain. Hopefully, this team will be able to sustain it, and that’ll help us in terms of our development when the fall rolls around.”

Will that positive attitude lead to sustained success on the field this fall? We’ll get our first look at the 2022 Alabama team on Saturday, April 16, during the Tide’s A-Day spring scrimmage.
