Billy Napier and the Florida Gators held their second spring scrimmage on Saturday afternoon.

There were some positives, but after the scrimmage, Napier named something that he wants to clean up.

Per 247Sports, Napier noted how much penalties hurt the Gators last year, adding that there were too many undisciplined penalties on Saturday:

“I thought both sides of the ball did a lot of good things today,” Napier said. “Just think that we had too many undisciplined penalties. That’s probably the main takeaway. Last week we played 120 plays (in the scrimmage) and we had two penalties and this week we were way up there. I’m not sure how many, but too many for my liking.”

The Gators still have time left this spring, so we’ll see if they can clean things up before their spring scrimmage.
