Brock Bowers was a breakout star as Georgia’s go-to tight end during the 2021 season, playing a big part in the Bulldogs’ championship run as a true freshman.

Now, he’s entering his sophomore season in Athens with a lot of buzz surrounding him. The NIL deals are pouring in, too.

On Thursday, it was announced that Bowers had signed an NIL deal with Zaxby’s, a chicken chain:

“Ever since I committed to Georgia, I have been a fan of everything Athens has to offer. That goes doubly so for the Athens-based Zaxby’s. To that end, I couldn’t be more excited to announce that we are teaming up. From charity events to community fundraising, Zaxby’s shares my passion for making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of our community. Plus, the chicken is fire,” said Bowers.

Bowers won’t be playing in Georgia’s spring game on Saturday, as he is out this spring with an injury. But, when he takes the field this fall, he’ll do so as one of the most exciting players in the country.
