LSU landed a commitment from 4-star in-state 2023 RB Trey Holly on Sunday afternoon, then kept that momentum going on Monday to start the new week.

This time, the Tigers had to venture outside the state of Louisiana to land the services of 4-star CB Daylen Austin of Long Beach, California.

As you can see below, Austin took to Twitter on Monday afternoon to announce his commitment to coach Brian Kelly’s program:

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Austin is the No. 16 cornerback in the class of 2023 and the No. 11 overall recruit from the state of California.

The Tigers now have 6 players in their 2023 class, which currently ranks No. 15 in the nation and No. 5 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
