Tennessee AD Danny White on renovations to Lindsey Nelson Stadium: 'Let's be the best'
Tennessee has some exciting plans for its home ballpark. On Friday, the Tennessee Fund released renderings of what the new Lindsey Nelson Stadium will look like after a massive renovation project.

Tennessee athletic director Danny White acknowledged the Vols don’t have to be the biggest stadium to have the best place to play.

It’s an exciting time for the Volunteer baseball program. Entering Friday’s NCAA Tournament action, the Vols are 187-75 overall, posting winning records in each of Tony Vitellow’s 5 seasons on Rocky Top. The Vols have won the SEC East in back-to-back years and are looking to make it back-to-back trips to the College World Series. The 2022 squad is 53-7 overall after sweeping the SEC regular-season and conference tournament titles.
The current Lindsey Nelson Stadium is hosting the Knoxville Regional. If the Vols take care of business, they’ll host a Super Regional in Knoxville as well. Tennessee is the No. 1 overall national seed in the NCAA Tournament.
