Brady Slavens reacts to hitting the longest home run in Charles Schwab Park history
Brady Slavens and the Arkansas Razorbacks picked up a 3-2 win over Ole Miss on Wednesday night, staying alive in the College World Series.
Slavens, batting in the No. 8 spot in the lineup for the Hogs, played a big part in that win, hitting a home run in the top of the 5th inning.
As you can see below, this was no ordinary home run. This was an absolute bomb to dead-center field:

Slavens’ home run was the longest in the history of Charles Schwab Field. Below, you can see his reaction to learning that fact:

The ball left Slavens’ bat at 107 mph and at a 24-degree launch angle:

And, according to NCAA Baseball, Slavens is only the third player to ever hit a home run into that gap in dead center field, joining Florida’s Pete Alonso and FSU’s Dylan Busby:
