Jermaine Burton gets forced ice bath to celebrate 21st birthday at Alabama
Jermaine Burton transferred from Georgia to Alabama this offseason, and he’ll be counted on to become a key piece of the Crimson Tide offense this fall.
But first, he’s still learning some of the traditions in Tuscaloosa, including the 21st birthday ice bath.
As you can see below, Burton’s Alabama teammates wouldn’t let him escape the facility without participating in the birthday tradition, whether he wanted to or not:
As per @AlabamaFTBL tradition, WR Jermaine Burton celebrated his 21st birthday in #CrimsonTide style — in the ❄️❄️❄️ tub at Mal Moore. HBD Jermaine!

In 2 years at Georgia, Burton recorded 53 catches for 901 yards and 8 touchdowns. Working with Bryce Young as his top receiver this fall, Alabama fans will expect Burton to at least match those numbers in 1 season in 2022.
Will he be up to the task? We’ll see how he fares in Alabama’s offense this season.
