Washington, D.C. police have shared details of the shooting involving Brian Robinson. The former Alabama running back is reportedly dealing with non-life-threatening injuries.

Tom Pelissero of NFL Network tweeted comments from D.C. Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck. According to the police, the shooting occurred in the 1000 block of H Street. Robinson was the lone victim of an attempted arm robbery or carjacking, suffering 2 gunshot wounds in his lower extremities.

Robinson was taken to a nearby hospital. Two suspects fled on foot and a firearm was recovered. The shooting happened before 6 p.m. Sunday, hours after Robinson’s Washington Commanders played their preseason finale in Baltimore.
