A Tennessee football sideline reporter has resigned her post with the athletic department, according to a report from the Knoxville News.

Kasey Funderburg departed the program on Thursday, days after a report on Outkick revealed that she had made tweets with racial slurs as a high schooler.

Per Outkick, Funderburg called out a parody account for joking that Tennessee fans would wear blackface with Volunteer players set to wear all-black uniforms against Kentucky on Saturday. That led to another person on Twitter sharing previous posts from Funderberg from her high school years in 2013 and 2014 “allegedly showing Funderburg writing the n-word”.

Funderburg’s Twitter account is currently set to private.

Tennessee plays Kentucky on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Funderburg’s role will be filled by former Tennessee wide receiver Jayson Swain.
