Gary Danielson battles through raspy voice, fans react during Alabama at Ole Miss game

Gary Danielson battled an apparent sickness on Saturday during the Alabama-Ole Miss game on CBS, and fans noticed it right away.
Many fans, who regularly criticize Danielson each week during the marquee SEC game of the week, were somewhat conflicted about Danielson being less than 100%. Typically, fans write on social media that they prefer the game on mute because of Danielson’s apparent bias, or lack of valuable contributions to the broadcast, in their minds.
This time, one fan even said they were “ashamed” to hope that Danielson loses the rest of his voice. Another seemingly neutral fan was irritated by Danielson even though they don’t root for Ole Miss or Alabama.
