Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles are the NFL’s lone remaining undefeated team at 8-0. They’re at Lincoln Financial Field to face the Washington Commanders on “Monday Night Football”.

The former Alabama and Oklahoma star has blossomed into one of the league’s most intriguing quarterbacks in his 3rd season. He entered Monday with 2,082 yards, 12 touchdowns and just 2 interceptions through the air, but has added 6 more touchdowns and 326 more yards on the ground.

And Hurts may have channeled Tim Tebow a little late in the 1st quarter with the Eagles driving. He hit Dallas Goedert over the middle with a jump pass to put Philadelphia ahead, even striking a Heisman pose afterwards:

That caught the attention of Tebow’s former position coach at Florida. Dan Mullen, the Gators’ offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach the year Tebow won the Heisman, felt Eagles QB coach Brian Johnson, who was coached by Mullen at Utah and later was one of his assistants at Mississippi State and Florida, had a hand in it:

Philadelphia leads Washington 14-10 in the 2nd quarter.
