Tennessee is throwing it back with a classic look on Saturday.

The No. 4 Volunteers will sport a 1936-inspired jersey for their SEC/Big 12 Challenge game against No. 10 Texas. Harry Anderson was named Tennessee’s first All-American in 1936. The back of Saturday’s jersey features a new tri-star state Tennessee tertiary logo.

The combo is considered the fourth Tennessee Classic alongside previously released Smokey Grey, Dark Mode and Summitt Legacy concepts.

Unfortunately for fans, the jerseys won’t be made for sale this year, according to the official team store.

Tennessee last played on Wednesday, defeating Georgia 70-41 to pick up its third consecutive win, improving to 17-3 overall and 9-1 in SEC play. The Vols are 9-1 at home in the 2022-23 campaign.

Tennessee-Texas is set for 6 p.m. ET Saturday on ESPN. An electric atmosphere is expected in Thompson-Boiling Arena. ESPN’s College GameDay will be on hand to preview the showdown between Rick Barnes’ current and former teams.
