The Indianapolis Colts are banking on former Florida QB Anthony Richardson being the face of the franchise for the next decade.

They chose Richardson with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, so expectations will be high starting this fall.

On Sunday, the Colts revealed that Richardson would be wearing a different jersey number than the No. 15 he sported at Florida. As you can see below, he’ll rock the No. 5 uniform in Indianapolis this fall:

Richardson was the third quarterback taken in the 2023 draft, going behind Alabama’s Bryce Young and Ohio State’s CJ Stroud.

Can he put up the best numbers of all the rookie quarterbacks this season? The Colts hope he’s the answer to their QB carousel they’ve had in recent years.
