The Alabama Crimson Tide—although having just one loss on their record to the No. 3 ranked Ole Miss Rebels—seem to be on their fans’ hot seat as they travel to College Station, Tx. this weekend.

The Tide’s game against Arkansas last weekend didn’t go exactly as planned—they eked by and beat the Razorbacks, who are 0-3 in the SEC by the way, 14-13.

Alabama’s offense was out gained by Arkansas’ by over 100 yards, and the Tide had an uncharacteristic four fumbles on special teams. However quarterback Blake Sims’ two touchdown passes in the second half paired with Landon Collins picking off Razorback quarterback Brandon Allen late in the fourth quarter was enough to pull out a victory for Nick Saban and company.

Texas A&M, who was a playoff bid frontrunner for the first five weeks of the season, was whopped at home 35-20 by Ole Miss last week.

The score looks like it was a closer game, but that was hardly the case—the Rebels scored 21 unanswered points in the first half alone, and the Aggies didn’t get on the board until midway through the third quarter.

Kenny “not so Trill” Hill had three turnovers—two of which that were returned for touchdowns. The receivers’ struggles with drops continued as well. The Aggie wide receiving corps now has 24 drops on the year—that number is five more than any other Power 5 Conference team.
