All seven SEC West teams are going bowling this season, but where? Much of the bowl pecking order will be decided on Saturday when rivalry matchups in Tuscaloosa and Oxford are finalized.

RELATED: Week 13 SEC Bowl Projections

On Thursday, we looked at SEC East bowl possibilities. Here’s our thoughts on the West …

ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE (10-1, 6-1)

The Crimson Tide’s path to the College Football Playoff is simple. Beat Auburn and prevail in Atlanta and Alabama has the No. 1 seed. A lot could change over the next two weekends, but at worst, Alabama’s assured itself of a quality bowl invite as the top team in the country.

Most likely

  • Playoff Semifinal
  • Orange

MISSISSIPPI STATE (10-1, 6-1)

Currently sitting on uneven ground at No. 4 in the Playoff rankings, Mississippi State needs to win pretty at Ole Miss on Saturday and receive help from Auburn to strengthen its case. If the Bulldogs finish 11-1 and second in the West, it appears a New Year’s Six invite is likely without a final four berth.

Most likely

  • Fiesta
  • Cotton
  • Playoff Semifinal

Fringe

  • Citrus

OLE MISS REBELS (8-3, 4-3)

From Playoff contender to fourth-place in their own division, the final month’s been a rough one on the Rebels. Ole Miss could still be invited to a New Year’s Six bowl if it wins the Egg Bowl but that is the least likely scenario. A journey to Tampa appears to be the move.

Most likely

  • Outback
  • Music City

Fringe

  • Orange

AUBURN TIGERS (8-3, 4-3)

It’s Central Florida or bust for Auburn after faltering down the stretch. The defending SEC champs’ ‘Super Bowl’ comes Saturday in the Iron Bowl.

Most likely

  • Citrus
  • Outback

LSU TIGERS (8-4, 4-4)

Les Miles and the Tigers won their eighth game of the season at Texas A&M, closing the book on the 2014 campaign. LSU will slide into Jacksonville or Nashville it appears or possibly Texas.

Most likely

  • TaxSlayer
  • Music City
  • Belk

Fringe

  • Texas

TEXAS A&M AGGIES (7-5, 3-5)

Rumored to be the leading candidate for a Texas Bowl invite for obvious reasons, the Aggies finished on a sour note Thursday against LSU. Multiple reports have said the SEC will try and avoid a Texas A&M-Texas matchup.

Most likely

  • Texas

Fringe

  • Liberty
  • Independence

ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS (6-5, 2-5)

A win over Mizzou today strengthens the Razorbacks’ invite, but a .500 finish puts Arkansas in Birmingham or Shreveport.

Most likely

  • Birmingham
  • Independence
  • Liberty
