Alabama CB Marlon Humphrey wasn’t celebrating after the No. 1 Crimson Tide went to Fayetteville and picked up a 49-30 victory over the No. 16 Arkansas Razorbacks on Saturday night.

The Alabama defense gave up 400 passing yards to QB Austin Allen and the Hogs, which, according to AL.com, Humphrey said was unacceptable:

“Definitely disappointing,” Humphrey said. “Definitely disappointed with our secondary. We have to play a lot better. We got the win but it’s never a good thing to see that many yards passing.”

Humphrey added that there was confusion in the secondary on almost every play, leading to several big gains for the Hogs:

“Almost every play that happened in the first half and the second half, really, we gave to them whether it was a busted coverage, not knowing the certain formation — everything we really gave to them,” Humphrey said. “That’s all it was.”

At the end of the day, Alabama won and will retain its No. 1 ranking. However, the Tide will need to clean up their act if they want to remain unbeaten in games against Tennessee and Texas A&M the next two weeks.
