The Alabama Crimson Tide are the top team in the country, and will likely be No. 1 in the newest College Football Playoff rankings.

They proved themselves in their toughest test of the season at LSU on Saturday night, shutting out the Tigers 29-0 at Tiger Stadium.

Heading into another key battle against Mississippi State, junior TE Irv Smith Jr. said he doesn’t think there’s anyone out there in college football who can stop the Tide (via 247Sports):

“They said we haven’t played anybody and that our offense and defense were very suspect,” Smith Jr. said. “We wanted to go out there and show everybody what we were capable of doing. It’s pretty stamped.

“Offensively and defensively, I feel like nobody can stop us in the country.”

Smith certainly isn’t the only one who feels that way, but coach Nick Saban will want to keep his team focused.

“Unbeatable” teams have lost before, so the Tide need to remain focused as they finish off the last three weeks of the season.
