The New Orleans Saints will host the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday afternoon with a trip to the Super Bowl on the line, and former Alabama star RB Mark Ingram has been a big part of the Saints’ success.

However, Ingram is set to be a free agent after the season, and even though there’s still football left to be played, he’s also thinking about his future.

Per NOLA.com, Ingram isn’t ready to leave New Orleans just yet, saying he thinks this squad can compete for titles for a few more years:

“I’m not looking just to leave New Orleans,” Ingram said Monday (Jan. 14). “I’m not looking just to up and leave New Orleans. My squad, you know we got a good squad. I feel like we could do this type of thing for many more years. I’m not looking just to bail out of New Orleans.”

Alvin Kamara and Ingram form one of the NFL’s best duos in the backfield, with Ingram running for 645 yards and six touchdowns this year after missing the first four games due to suspension.

Bringing Ingram back will be important for the Saints this offseason, but first, the NFC title game looms large on Sunday.
