That was a special tribute, one that will likely be appreciated by Cousette’s family. The suspect in Cousette’s killing, 20-year-old Luther Bernard Watkins Jr., has been charged with murder.
Earlier in the day, the Pelham Police department posted a picture of Cousette working at Bryant-Denny Stadium:
This is Dornell Cousette. He was a @TuscaloosaPD officer, and he was murdered doing his job tonight. He had a fiancé and two children.
