Can anyone stop the No. 1 Alabama Crimson Tide this year?

That’s a question that is being asked as we approach the SEC Championship Game on Dec. 19 in Atlanta, which will pit the Tide against the Florida Gators.

FOX’s Big Noon Kickoff crew of Urban Meyer, Matt Leinart, Brady Quinn and Reggie Bush was asked that question on Saturday. Here’s what they had to say:

“Yes, Florida,” Meyer said quickly. “Watch that game, if (Florida) gets 4-5 stops, they have a shot.”

“I like to say anyone is beatable in college football, but I’m just not sure anyone can slow down Alabama,” Leinart said. The thing that stands out is versatility. They can line up Najee Harris and run the ball 30 times and score 50 that way. Or, they can spread you out and throw to DeVonta Smith and have those 2-3 play series where they hit the home-run shots.”

“You can’t make them one-dimensional, and that’s what makes them tough to guard against,” Bush said. “They make you defend the entire football field. … I don’t think there’s anybody capable of beating this team. You need a nasty defense to beat this team and we haven’t seen that this year.”

Who will be right? Meyer, or the rest of the crew? We’ll find out next weekend in Atlanta!
