The Crimson Tide is rolling on the recruiting trail. Hours after landing a verbal commitment from 4-star defensive end Markell Goodwine, Alabama picked up another pledge for its 2021 recruiting class when JUCO cornerback Khyree Jackson announced his commitment to UA.

A standout at Fort Scott Community College in Kansas who has since transferred to East Mississippi Community College, Jackson is listed at 6-3, 197 pounds and rated 3-stars, the No. 2 cornerback and No. 5 prospect overall on the 247Sports Composite JUCO. Jackson chose Alabama over fellow finalists Florida, Oklahoma and Oregon. He also received scholarship offers from Auburn, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee. Freddie Roach and Karl Scott led UA’s recruitment of Jackson.

Jackson is pledge No. 18 in Alabama’s 2021 class, which is ranked No. 1 in the SEC and No. 2 nationally on the Composite. His 2019 Hudl highlight tape and commitment announcement can each be viewed below:
