Henry To’o To’o explains why playing at Texas will be beneficial for Alabama defense

Alabama’s road trip to Austin, Texas will be a much needed outing for the Alabama defense.

Not because the Longhorns squad will be easy or anything, but because they’ll be able to hear themselves think. Henry To’o To’o’s words, not mine.

“When we’re home, we can hardly hear anything because our crowd is going so crazy to mess with their offense,” To’o To’o said Tuesday, via Charlie Potter. “But it’s always exciting to go on the road, to be able to play on somebody’s turf field and be able to try to get a win from them.”

It’s not surprising to hear that from To’o To’o. Bryant-Denny is known as being an impossible place to play, partly because of the Tide and partly because of its fans.

But the road trip is good for other reasons. The Longhorns will present more of a challenge for the Tide than the Aggies did, as will the fans at the stadium, and that competition is always welcome for a team hunting yet another National Title. The game is set to kick off at Noon EST Saturday on FOX.
