Kenyan Drake has played three seasons in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins, but he doesn’t mind being compared to a rookie. Well, not just any rookie.

When Drake recently visited the NFL Network’s “Good Morning Football,” the hosts wanted to get his thoughts on Josh Jacobs, the running back picked by Oakland in the first round. Drake’s Crimson Tide career ended before Jacobs’ began, but the hero of the 2016 national championship game still had plenty to say about the Raiders newcomer.

Drake started things off by saying he’s humbled, calling Jacobs “a great back,” which shows he still keeps up with his former team in Tuscaloosa. Since they weren’t teammates, Drake didn’t have many specifics from first-hand observations and interactions with Jacobs to share, but he knows that Jacobs is well-prepared for life in the NFL after three seasons of playing for Nick Saban.
