Jalen Milroe has dealt with a lot of criticism in recent weeks as Alabama went from being No. 1 in the country to being a 2-loss team on the fringes of the College Football Playoff conversation in just 3 weeks.

The Crimson Tide quarterback replaced a legend in Bryce Young and, well, he plays quarterback at Alabama, so the standards are always going to be high. While Milroe struggled in that 3-week stretch against Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Tennessee as Alabama went 1-2, he led the Crimson Tide to a blowout victory over Missouri on Saturday and he made some major history while doing it.

When Milroe scampered for a 9-yard touchdown run with 12:33 left in the 3rd quarter to give Alabama a 20-0 lead, he became the 1st player in the glorious history of Alabama football to have 25 passing touchdowns and 25 rushing TDs. Milroe has 42 passing TDs and 25 rushing scores in his Alabama career that still has a lot left in it.

The junior QB has 1,937 yards passing in 2024 with 13 touchdown passes and 6 interceptions, 5 of which came during that aforementioned 3-week ugly stretch. Milroe has been particularly dangerous this season with his legs though, as he showed on Saturday. He now has 380 yards rushing and 12 rushing TDs this year.

Milroe will get a week off now before leading Alabama into Death Valley for a meeting with LSU on Nov. 9.
