Julio Jones was traded from the Atlanta Falcons to the Tennessee Titans ahead of the 2021 NFL season, but the experiment didn’t work out for Tennessee.

Jones appeared in 10 games, posting career lows in catches (31), yards (434) and touchdowns (1) for the Titans.

Now, it appears the Titans are cutting their losses. Per ESPN’s Dianna Russini, the Titans are planning to release the 7-time Pro Bowl receiver:

Jones, a former Alabama star, was one of the best receivers in the NFL for years. He has led the league in yards twice, posting a career-high 1,871 yards in 2015.

Where Jones ends up next remains to be seen, but there’s likely to be some interest in the ex-Falcon and ex-Titan.
