Lane Kiffin made a splash all week on social media and in press conferences about Alabama’s defensive coordinator, and how the Crimson Tide dynasty may be crumbling. He even dismissed that the Alabama game is his “Super Bowl.”

Down by 2 touchdowns, the chatter from fans and media focused on Kiffin, and how he’s in another up-hill battle against Alabama as he came into the game 0-4 against Nick Saban.

With less than 5 minutes remaining in the game, and the score 24-10 Alabama, Ross Tucker on CBS said, “I’m confused by some of these play calls … I don’t know about all these jet sweeps.”

That drive ultimately ended after 15 plays and 55 yards after 6:09 off the clock, as a 4th down and 16 pass fell incomplete from the Alabama 18-yard line.
