Media members react to Alabama's sixth national championship under Nick Saban
Alabama won the College Football Playoff National Championship Game, trouncing Ohio State 52-24 to win a sixth title under Nick Saban.
It’s Saban’s seventh total championship, which passes the great Bear Bryant, who also won six titles at Alabama. Heisman-winning WR DeVonta Smith had 12 catches for 215 yards and 3 scores, all in the first half before he injured his hand.
After the game, media members took to Twitter to react to the Crimson Tide’s dominant performance. Here were some of the top tweets in the aftermath of the historic night for Alabama:
Congrats to Bama but unfortunately we’ll never know for sure if they would have beaten Coastal Carolina under this system.

Mac Jones has come a long way from being the scout team quarterback that made Jeremy Pruitt think Bama would be screwed if he was on the field.

Will Saban stick around for a shot at an eighth title? We’ll see how many more years the greatest coach of all time plans to prowl the sidelines.
