One of the nation’s top quarterback prospects has narrowed his list down to four and two of the programs that made the cut hail from the Southeastern Conference.

Bishop Alemany product Miller Moss is down to just four options and the southern California native will either play his football near home or he’ll play for the two most dominant SEC West programs in recent history as Alabama and LSU made his lists of final schools, along with UCLA and USC.

The 6-foot-2, 197-pound Moss threw for 3,223 passing yards and 30 touchdowns while completing 67 percent of his passes during his junior season at Bishop Alemany. One interesting note, Moss’ high school coach is former Tennessee quarterback Casey Clausen.

Moss enters his senior season as the nation’s No. 48 overall prospect and the No. 5 pro-style passer in the country, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings.

While it may be tough to lure an elite California prospect away from the two traditionally powerful UCLA and USC programs, both Alabama and LSU have managed to do just that in recent seasons and continue to recruit the state hard if there’s an elite player they covet from California.
