The Ohio State Buckeyes dominated the TCU Horned Frogs Saturday 40-28, and now, Paul Finebaum is ready to start looking at them as the biggest potential challenger to Alabama.

The No. 1 Crimson Tide, of course, dominated Ole Miss 62-7.

Finebaum hopped on SportsCenter Sunday morning, and he explained his thoughts after the Buckeyes big win.

“Now that Urban (Meyer) comes back, you have to start really start thinking about this Ohio State team as possibly the best challenger to Alabama,” Finebaum said. “They look easily to me to be the second best team in the country right now. Again, we’re putting a lot of stock into this one game, but that was a big game. … I’ve been really impressed with what Ryan Davis’ team has done so far.”

Urban Meyer returns now from his suspension, and the Buckeyes are only going to get better and more explosive with their head coach.

Aside from Ohio State, Clemson has been mentioned as the potentially the biggest challenger to the Crimson Tide, too, but the Tigers haven’t dominated like everyone thought so far in 2018.

Finebaum’s right — Alabama and Ohio State have looked like the two best teams in the country through three weeks.
