Paul Tyson has Alabama in his blood. In addition to being a member of the Tide’s 2020 national-title winning team, he’s also the great-grandson of the late Bear Bryant.

But, after the national championship this year, Tyson was one of several Alabama players who entered the transfer portal.

On Sunday afternoon, he revealed on Twitter that he was heading west to the Pac-12. As you can see below, he’ll play for the Arizona State Sun Devils in 2022:

Tyson completed 10 of 16 passes for 150 yards at Alabama in 2021.

Tyson was a 4-star quarterback in the 2019 recruiting class, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. We’ll see how he fares out in Tempe in 2022 and beyond.
