Report: 2 Alabama offensive stars expected to turn pro
It has become custom for players to announce their NFL Draft decisions via social media. Alabama will be holding a press conference Friday to let underclassmen announce their decisions, but some of those are starting to leak out ahead of time.
Matt Zenitz of AL.com is reporting that both TE Irv Smith Jr. and RB Josh Jacobs will be declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft.
In addition to AL.com’s reports, another departure appeared to be revealed early via a Thursday morning tweet from trainer Paul Alexander.
“TRAINING tomorrow at REP1 with JONAH WILLIAMS (LT#73) Terrific player. We will work run game in the morning on the field and classroom.Pass pro on Saturday. I’m HONORED and EXCITED! @Rep1Sports @JonahGWilliams,” the tweet read. It has since been deleted.
