When the 2017 NFL season begins, former Alabama OL Andre Smith will be back where his career started.

After spending his first seven years in the league with the Cincinnati Bengals, Smith left before last season to sign a one-year deal with the Minnesota Vikings.

On Tuesday, though, he signed another one-year deal, this time to return to the Bengals:

Cincinnati selected Smith with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. In 86 career games, the ex-Crimson Tide standout has started 77 times.

Smith was a unanimous All-American in 2008 while playing for the Crimson Tide.
