Entering the 2018 season, Alabama RB Najee Harris is expected to be the Crimson Tide’s second-string back behind starter Damien Harris.

However, on Tuesday, it was reported that Najee was spotted at practice with a scooter, seemingly indicating a foot injury.

Now, according to AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, sources say Harris will miss the next couple of weeks of fall camp, but should be ready for Week 1 against Louisville:

Harris carried the ball 61 times for 370 yards and three touchdowns as a true freshman last season, and could be poised for an even bigger year in 2018 if he’s healthy.

With Bo Scarbrough off to the NFL, Harris has a chance to step into that role this fall. However, he first needs to get healthy again, and it sounds like that may take a couple of weeks.
