Going undefeated for an entire season is incredibly difficult, and it’s even tougher to do in a conference like the SEC.

Therefore, even though Alabama lost to Clemson in last year’s title game, it’s still impressive that they made it through their SEC schedule unscathed.

This year, the Crimson Tide will try to match that feat, but it won’t be easy. According to Sporting News, the one potential trap game on the Alabama schedule is on Nov. 11 at Mississippi State.

The article, which can be seen here, lists potential trap games for Georgia, Auburn, LSU and Florida as well, which are listed below:

  • Georgia vs. Kentucky — Nov. 18
  • Auburn at Arkansas — Oct. 21
  • LSU at Ole Miss — Oct. 21
  • Florida at South Carolina — Nov. 11

SEC road games are no joke, so seeing four of the five listed trap games coming away from the team’s home stadium is not surprising.

Whichever team manages to navigate their tough schedule to reach the SEC Championship Game in Atlanta will have an inside track on one of four College Football Playoff berths.
