Tua Tagovailoa suffered a rib injury back on Sept. 19 when the Miami Dolphins were playing the Buffalo Bills.
The Dolphins placed their young quarterback on injured reserve, shutting him down for a few weeks. But, it seems he could be nearing a return.
Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Tagovailoa — the former Alabama star — could return on Oct. 17, when the Dolphins take on the Jacksonville Jaguars in London:

That would be the soonest he’s eligible to come off the IR list, as he must miss a minimum of 3 weeks.
For now, Jacoby Brissett will continue to start for the Dolphins. Miami takes on Indianapolis on Sunday afternoon.
