What Nick Saban said when asked about Reuben Foster's domestic-violence arrest
Former Alabama LB Reuben Foster hasn’t been able to stay out of legal trouble since being drafted by the San Francisco 49ers in the first round of the 2017 NFL Draft.
After a relatively uneventful career at Alabama, Foster has been arrested multiple times with the Niners, including his second domestic-violence arrest on Saturday night at the 49ers’ team hotel.
On Wednesday night, Alabama coach Nick Saban was asked about Foster’s latest arrest, and he said he hasn’t talked to Foster since the incident:
Saban on former Alabama LB Reuben Foster, who was cut by San Francisco after a second domestic violence arrest and recently claimed by Washington this week: "I have not talked to Reuben. I don't know much about the situation."

Obviously, it doesn’t make sense for Saban to issue any sort of statement on Foster at this point, so this no comment was the right call.
Hopefully Foster gets the help he needs, but after this latest arrest, he was released by the 49ers. He has since been picked up by the Washington Redskins and is currently on the Commissioner’s Exempt list.
