Based on his recent visit schedule, Jalen Hurts is seriously considering three schools to finish out his collegiate playing career — Maryland, Oklahoma and Miami.

Those are the three schools Hurts reportedly visited over the weekend soon after putting his name in the NCAA’s transfer portal following the conclusion of Alabama’s season. Each program has unique characteristics that make them attractive, specifically when it comes to Hurts.

His former offensive coordinator, Mike Locksley, is now leading the Maryland program. His former quarterback coach, Dan Enos, is now running the offense in Miami. And last but not least, Lincoln Riley has turned back-to-back quarterbacks into Heisman Trophy winners. Interestingly enough, both Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray transferred into Oklahoma, as Hurts would have to do to play for the Sooners.

During his weekly Monday morning radio segment with Birmingham-based WJOX 94.5 FM program, “The Roundtable,” SEC Network host Paul Finebaum was asked where he thought Hurts would eventually wind up. The longtime radio host pointed to the final school Hurts recently visited.

“I’d hate to bet it, but I’m leaning a little toward Miami. Oklahoma, to me, to just go there and be the next guy after two Heisman winners doesn’t sound like Jalen, but that would be my guess. But, man, you might as well just close your eyes and guess,” Finebaum said.

“I don’t understand Maryland. Forgetting the (Mike) Locksley situation, that just doesn’t seem like a place that Jalen Hurts would be happy.”

Finebaum capped his thoughts on Hurts by noted how great of a story it would be if Hurts wins the Heisman Trophy next season while sitting next to Heisman finalist Tua Tagovailoa. How wild of a scene would that be if it were to happen?
