Walcott will be a 5th-year super senior for the Hogs. After playing a freshman season at Butler (Kansas) Community College in 2019, he joined Baylor for the 2020 season. In 3 years, Walcott played in 32 games for the Bears.
In 2021, Walcott posted a career-high 8 passes defended, including 3 interceptions with a pick-6 in the Sugar Bowl against Ole Miss. In 2022, Walcott’s tackles increased from 33 to 80. Walcott had 10 tackles for loss, including 2 sacks, to go along with 5 passes defended (1 interception) in the 2022 campaign.
Walcott will play alongside a familiar face. The Hogs recently landed fellow former Baylor defensive back Lorando “Snaxx” Johnson.
